Field Directions

Bowie Lacrosse

MITCHELLVILLE FIELDS:
FROM SOUTH:
Route 4 north to Route 301 north in Upper Marlboro.  Continue on Route 301 to Route 197 (Collington Rd).  It will be a left turn, just past the Wal-Mart and opposite "Rips Restaurant."  Stay in the left lane and turn left at the next light onto Mitchellville Road.  Go approximately 3/4 mile and a series of fields will be on the left (Mitchellville Soccer Fields), opposite the entrance to Allen Pond Park.
FROM DC METRO:
Route 50 East towards Annapolis.  Take Collington Road (Route 197) South (right at the light).  Bowie Town Center is on the right.  Follow Collington Road (Route 197) approximately 2 miles and make a RIGHT on Mitchellville Road (Lowes is on the left).  Go down Mitchellville through the second light.  Fields are on the left just after the second light.

TURF FIELD:
Same directions but instead of turning left into Mitchellville Fields turn RIGHT into Allan's Pond Park.  Synthetic turf field is third field on the right.

Calvert Lacrosse Club (Dunkirk Park)
Beltway exit 11A (Pennsylvania Avenue/Route 4 South).  Follow Route 4 through Upper Marlboro and into Calvert County.  Dunkirk Park is on the right side of Route 4 a few miles after entering Calvert County.  The lacrosse field is in the back of the park beyond the tennis courts.

Damascus Lacrosse
Moyer Rd Park (all non-Bantam games):  From I-270, take Exit 16 (Father Hurley Blvd) North/East towards Damascus (a right on the I-270 ramp).  Go approximately 5.5 miles to a Right on Sweepstakes Rd.  Left at light onto Rt. 124/Woodfield Rd.  Left onto Moyer Rd.  Moyer Rd Park is at the end of the road, approximately a half mile.

Laytonsville Local Park (Bantam Games only):  7680 Brink Rd, Gaithersburg 20882   From I-270, take exit 11 (RIGHT) onto Rt-124 [Montgomery Village Ave].   After 1 mile, turn RIGHT (East) onto Midcounty Hwy.  At first light, turn LEFT (North) onto Goshen Rd.   Stay on Goshen Rd for 3.3 miles.  Goshen Rd. will become Brink Rd at a 3 way stop sign.  Bear right at stop sign and stay on Brink for approximately 2 miles.  Park will be on the right.

Patty Huson Field Games:  Damascus
Follow the Capital Beltway toward Baltimore.  Follow the Beltway to I-270.  From I-270 take Exit #11 Montgomery Village Ave. Your 1st light is at the bottom of the ramp.  Stay on Montgomery Village Ave. and travel through a total of 11 traffic lights!  At the 12th light veer RIGHT on to Wightman Rd.  Go to the 1st light (Goshen Rd)Turn LEFT on Goshen Rd.  Go 200 yards and turn RIGHT on to East Village Dr.  Go 3/10s of a mile and turn left in to the Lake Marion Community Center.  Park at the far end of the parking lot and walk up the path (away from community center bldg) to the playing field.  NOTE - there are bathrooms in the community center!

MVSA Watkins Mill High School

Rt. 4 North to the Beltway.  Take 495 toward Baltimore/College Park.  Exit at the I-270 exit toward Frederick (Should be Exit 35).  From I-270 take exit #11 , Montgomery Village Ave.  Bear to the right when exiting and follow Montgomery Village Ave. for several miles.  T urn left onto Apple Ridge Rd.  G o to the end of Apple Ridge Rd. where you will turn right into Watkins Mill High School.

Olney Lacrosse

PG Lacrosse Club (Duvall Field)
Directions:  Beltway I95/495 To exit #25, Route 1 south to first light, make a left on Edgewood Road to first right on Rhode Island Ave. Field is on your left.  Coming from our old Greenbelt Middle School Field:  continue West on 193 (Greenbelt Rd), turn right on Rhode Island Ave at light (past Beltway Plaza), fields on the right. 

Prince Fredrick  (Hallowing Point Park)
Beltway I-495 Exit 11A (MD Rte 4 South) toward Upper Marlboro. Follow Route 4 south through the Prince Frederick town center to MD-231. Turn right onto MD-231 west. (At this intersection there is a car dealer on the right and a 7-11 on the left.) Stay on MD-231 west approximately four miles. Entrance to the park is on the right. Turn right into Hallowing Point Park entrance.

Take Capital Beltway to Exit 30A for US-29 toward Columbia.  Take New Hampshire Avenue exit North.  Make right onto Jackson Rd. Field on left park in Jackson Rd Elementary school parking lot.

South Calvert Lacrosse Club (Cove Point Park)
From the north:  
Take Route 4 south from the Capital Beltway.  Follow Route 4 through Calvert County - Prince Frederick is the main town center in Calvert County.  Continue 14.5 miles south of the Wal-Mart in Prince Frederick, turn left onto Cove Point Rd.  In 1/2 mile, turn left into Cove Point Park.  The field is on the left.

From the south:
Take Route 4 north over the Thomas Johnson Bridge into Calvert County.  About 5 miles north of the bridge, turn right onto Cove Point Rd.  In 1/2 mile, turn left into Cove Point Park.  The field is on the left.

St Mary's Lacrosse Club (John G. Lancaster Park in Lexington Park)
St. Mary's has two playing fields. John G. Lancaster Park will be used on a regular basis.  
Wildewood Field will only be used when there is a field conflict.  Our opponent, SMYLA, and the officials will be notified.

Directions to John G. Lancaster Park:
From Capital Beltway or Route 301:  Take Route 4 South into Calvert County, Route 4 joins with Route 2 South.  Continue on Route 2/4 past Solomons Island and over the Solomon Island Bridge into St. Mary's County.  Turn left (south) onto Rt. 235 at the Route 4/Route 235 intersection.  Continue south on Route 235 to N. Shangri-La Drive (just past the Days Inn).  Turn right onto N. Shangri-La Drive.  Proceed on N. Shangri-La Drive and through intersection with light.  Lancaster Park entrance is ½ mile on the left.   Games are played on Field #5 in the back of the park.

Wildewood Field  (alternate field only)
From Capital Beltway or Route 301:  Take Route 4 South into Calvert County.  Route 4 joins with Route 2 South.  Continue on Route 2/4 past Solomons Island and over the Solomons Island Bridge into St. Marys County.  Turn right (north) onto Route 235 towards California, MD.   Proceed north ½ mile.  From Route 235, turn left onto Wildewood Blvd (entrance adjacent to Wildewood Shopping Center).   Proceed ¼ mile and turn right onto Wildewood Parkway.  Proceed 1 mile and turn left onto Wildewood Drive (adjacent to the Wildewood Swimming Pool).  Fields are next to pool.

Urbana Lacrosse (Fannie Mae Field, Urbana)
From Capital Beltway
Take I-270 north toward Frederick
Take exit 26 (Urbana)
At the end of exit ramp, make a left at the traffic light on to MD Rte 80 East
Take 1st right on to Bennett Creek Blvd. (there will be a Waffle House, 7/11, and Citgo gas station on the left)
The Fannie Mae building will be in front of you
Field is to the right of the Fannie Mae Building

From Baltimore
Take I -70 West toward Frederick
In Frederick, take I-270 south
Take exit 26 (MD Rte 80, Urbana/Buckeystown)
At the end of the exit ramp, bear right (MD Rte 80 East) and go under highway.
Go straight through traffic light
Take 1st right after traffic light on to Bennett Creek Blvd (there will be a Waffle House, 7/11, and Citgo gas station on the left)
The Fannie Mae building will be in front of you
Field is to the right of the Fannie Mae Building

From Olney/Damascus
From MD Rte 108 West turn right on to MD Route 27 North and go approximately 2 miles
Turn left on MD Rte 80 West
Take MD Rte 80 West approximately 10 miles,
You will pass through 4 traffic lights  the 4th light is Rte 355
Go Straight on MD Rte 80 and continue around the traffic circle
Turn left on to Bennett Creek Blvd (there will be a Waffle House, 7/11, and Citgo gas station on the right)
The Fannie Mae building will be in front of you
Field is to the right of the Fannie Mae Building
